Our Burner Service Agreement

(This agreement available only to fuel oil customers)
Losch Comfort Guard Service
 One simple plan includes:

 1. Automatic Heating Oil Delivery -

Our automatic "degree day" system predicts your fuel consumption and tells when you are ready for oil. You will never have to check your supply, as long as you do not change your heating habits nor add or remove any heating devices. Metered delivery slips give you proof of the amount delivered.
2. A Budget Payment Plan -
You can support your heating oil payments over 11 easy to meet installments from August through June. The amount of heating oil you will use during a normal year will be estimated. The total estimated cost will then be divided into 11 equal monthly payments.
3. Complete Oil Burner Services -
A. Checking and Cleaning Of:
Head assembly of burner; Oil strainers and filters; Burner fan and motor; Ignition system; All Controls.
B. Cleaning Of:
Boiler or furnace; cleaning of smoke pipe and chimney base - where accessible. (Note: Does not include entire chimney.)
C. Lubrication Of:
Burner motor; Blower bearings and motor (on Warm Air Systems )
D. Adjustment Of:
Fire for highest efficiency possible with existing equipment.
E. Repair or Replacement of the following oil burner parts, when worn out due to normal use:
Burner motor; Burner fan; Shaft couplings; Oil pump; Nozzle; Oil strainer; Ignition points; Ignition wires; Ignition transformer; All Oil Burner controls (except Low Water cut-off on Steam Heating Systems); these include Cad Cell, Cad Cell relay, Primary safety control, Aquastat, Fan and Limit Control, Pressure Limit Control, Standard Thermostat (low voltage), Combustion Chamber. Circulator Motor only on Standard Circulators (Note: a $20.00 credit will be given toward a new circulator where circulator is one piece water cooled. Labor rates will be be charged for filling and purging.) Zone Valve Power Unit Only (Valve body not included), Blower Motor on warm air unit.

Service Rates for work covered under this Agreement
Service calls made during normal working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. under the terms of the contract will continue to be covered on a "no charge" basis.

Service calls after normal working hours, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are made only when health and safety are concerned, and will be billed at a rate of 1/2 of the regular hourly labor charge for all services performed under service contract.

Overtime Service Rates for work not covered under this Agreement
Rates for overtime are 1-1/2 times above our regular rate including transportation time. Time is computed from the time the serviceman leaves his home and returns.
